Production Details Announced For “Canada Sings: Season Two”

From a press release:

“‘With double the amount of entries from last year, we know Canadians are excited for the show’s return,’ said Barbara Williams, SVP, Content, Shaw Media.”

Yep, it’s getting bigger and there’s a new judge in “music video vixen” Laurieann Gibson – who stars in such shows as The Dance Scene and Born to Dance, and has directed and choreographed videos for the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyone, Janet Jackson, and Michael Jackson – but Canada Sings promises to stay true to it’s original concept as the GlobalTV competition-series’ sophomore season enters production.

As before, the hour-long, Insight Productions and Shaw Media-produced show invites viewers to join host Matte Babel (ET Canada’s Hollywood Correspondent) and the judges – music veterans Jann Arden, Rob Van(illa Ice) Winkle, and the aforementioned Gibson – and watch as extremely talented Canadian workplace Glee Clubs compete for charity.
